GET IN THE GAME!
The Blue Water Jr.NBA YMCA/Youth Basketball League is back! Jr.NBA is an instructional program designed for youngsters new to the sport of basketball as well as those who want to brush up on the rules, tactics, and skills, improve their game, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!
This year we are introducing the new Jr.WNBA League. This league will be offered to girls from grades 1st through 12th grade.
The Jr. Pistons League will still be an option for anyone who wants to continue playing Coed. Please mark within the registration which league and Division your child will participate in.
Each team is coached by volunteers and community members with a focus on participation, sportsmanship, and staying active.
Skill Assessment Day at the YMCA Saturday, December 21st

Practices
Begin the Week of Jan. 6th
Practices will take place Monday - Friday. Each team will receive 1 hour of practice time during the week, with games on Saturdays. Practice times will be decided by the coach. Parents will be contacted with practice time and team by the coach following the skills and draft day.

Eligibility Open to everyone
Requirements
Athletic Wear & Basketball Shoes. Please bring your own water bottle. Each team will have one evening practice each week. Practice slots are available Monday through Friday. (This will be designated by coaches). Each team will also get one game each week that will take place on Saturday at our YMCA. Division 1 - Grades 1st & 2nd Division 2 - Grades 3rd & 4th Division 3 - Grades 5th & 6th Division 4 - 7th & 8th. There's a mandatory coaches' meeting on Monday, December 9th th at 6:00 pm. Practices start the week of January 6th.
