Competitive Cheerleading Program
Calling All Cheerleaders ages 8-12! SONS Outreach is excited to build their Competitive Cheer Team for the 2024/25 Season!
FREE Tryouts will be conducted over three sessions: Wednesday, June 12th • Thursday, June 13th • Saturday, June 15th 4pm - 7pm in the SONS Resource Center Gym (Entrance E)
During tryouts, students will tumble, stunt, and learn a dance. On the third day of tryouts, everyone will be evaluated in groups by a panel of coaches. Everyone will perform each skill individually and in a group. Children will be notified privately if they have made the team. No experience is required!
Start date is August 8th at 5:30-7pm.
Tryout Requirements
- Must be between ages of 8-12
- Signed parent athlete injury waiver
- Must attend all three tryout dates
Tryout Attire
- Gym or cheer shoes
- T-shirt
- Shorts
- Hair tied back
cost per season is $250
Payment is due in September, after tryouts
Registration Covers: Uniform Rental, Cheerleading Bow, Backpack, Water Bottle, Practice Wear Set, Game Day Glitter, Practice Bow, Warm Up Jacket.
